Are you seeking a new role in the mechanical design field? Selectek needs a BIM/CAD Designer for a client located near Hartford, CT. Candidates will be utilizing CAD programs to convert contract documents into 3D model designs of HVAC and plumbing systems to be used in fabrication and installation for large-scale projects.
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Expected Pay Range: $75,000-$100,000 annual salary, based on experience and education
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Job Duties:
- Design 3D models of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems
- Create equipment models and installation drawings
- Develop hanger and pad drawings
- Maintain company design standards and integrity
- Troubleshoot design issues and work collaboratively with a team of designers
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Minimum one year working in the mechanical design field
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam
- Experience working in manufacturing and commercial design/drafting
