Job Description: The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced Quality Inspector with 4-5 years of experience working in a job shop environment. The candidate should be capable of performing First Piece and Final Part inspections efficiently, ensuring a high throughput of parts. This role is not suited for individuals who primarily perform paperwork; hands-on inspection is key.

Responsibilities:
  • Review customer drawings and specifications.
  • Determine necessary inspection points.
  • Document necessary inspection and test instructions and any changes to these instructions.
  • Maintain adequate quality assurance records.
  • Conduct quality assurance and corrective action follow-ups.
  • Perform original and periodic inspections of special and standard gages, test equipment, and tooling used in product manufacturing.
  • Ensure inspection and test equipment remain calibrated within established time frames.

Requirements:
  • US Citizen.
  • Minimum of 4 years of Quality Inspection experience in a machine shop environment.
  • Experience in quality inspection involving various materials such as sheet metal, aluminum, stainless steel, and/or polymers.
  • Proficiency in preparing and reading Inspection Reports for quality, measurements, calibration, and other technical documentation.
  • Ability to read blueprint drawings.
  • Experience with measurement tools (e.g., Micrometers, Gages) and a solid understanding of geometric tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Hands-on experience in First Piece and Final Parts inspecting.

Preferred:
  • CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Experience.

Hourly Range:
  • $25-29 per hour (relevant to experience)

Shift and Hours:
  • Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Term of Assignment:
  • 4 Months & 654 Hours Temp to Direct
