Selectek is offering a contract-to-hire opportunity for a BIM Modeler/Drafter with a prominent Structural Engineering Firm based in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Revit Structure and BIM technology to produce construction documents, drawings, and details for various projects. Collaboration with the engineering team, project management leaders, principals, and clients will be essential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize Revit Structure to generate drawings, documents, details, and schedules based on engineering notes, sketches, and existing drawings.
- Prepare comprehensive construction documents and maintain accurate records.
- Facilitate document transmission to clients through online uploads or hard copies, ensuring effective communication on behalf of the design team.
- Maintain constructive interactions with contractors, clients, and team members, fostering a positive and professional environment.
- Coordinate 3D models across disciplines to ensure project integration.
- Align with company goals and objectives to deliver high-quality results.
- Assist engineering staff with computational and drafting tasks as required.
- Manage project tracking and archive documents and deliverables accordingly.
- Thrive in a deadline-driven environment by organizing tasks efficiently.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Revit and/or BIM (Building Information Modeling).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and conscientious approach to work.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Structural software.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic team setting, with flexibility for overtime as needed.
