BIM Coordinator career opportunity available! 

About the Role:
A well-established mechanical contractor in Smyrna, GA is seeking an experienced BIM/VDC Support Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for new project setups, database configuration, managing software licenses, and assisting in the creation of 2D/3D drawings for mechanical and plumbing projects. You’ll work closely with the detailing team and field technicians to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up new projects in Revit, coordinating construction documents (architectural, mechanical, plumbing)
  • Maintain and update BIM software licenses
  • Assist with prefabrication spools, material reports, and shop drawings
  • Provide support for field teams with detailed 2D and 3D plumbing drawings
  • Collaborate with field technicians for as-built verification and layout point exports
What You’ll Need:
  • 5+ years of BIM/VDC experience with a mechanical or plumbing contractor
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD MEP, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
  • Solid understanding of construction industry standards and the ability to read and interpret design documents
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer-Aided Drafting, or a related field is a plus
  • Plumbing field experience is an advantage
  • Strong organizational skills for managing technical data and project files
