Job Description


A VDC/BIM Coordinator to assist in obtaining, evaluating and coordinating all information needed to construct the project in accordance with the contract documents through BIM models and to assure that the work meets all safety standards, is within schedule requirements, and is constructed to the highest level of quality possible.

Pay: $25-35/hr
Temp to Perm
Butler, WI

Here is the posted list of responsibilities:
  • Build 3D models based on provided layouts and sketches using AutoCAD and Revit
  • BIM coordination including clash detection and resolution
  • Follow the coordination process through to sign-off
  • Produce installation drawings for the field based on signed off models using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Work with estimating department on upcoming projects
  • Schedule work on projects
  • Capable of working on multiple projects concurrently (depending on size and schedule of each project)
  • Other duties as assigned

Required:
  • HS Diploma or GED or higher
  • 3+ years’ experience using Revit
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Prior CAD/BIM experience coordinating with MEP contractors
  • Electrical experience highly beneficial
  • Familiar with detailing fabrication drawings
  • Knowledge and ability to read and understand design and construction documents
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly
