Position: AutoCAD Drafter

Location: Hammerton, NJ
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour (DOE)
Duration: 6 months Contract-to-Hire

Company Overview:
Our client is a well-established civil engineering firm seeking a skilled AutoCAD Drafter to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the production of high-quality documents for GIS and Surveying projects.

Position Summary:
As an AutoCAD Drafter, you will work closely with the GIS and Surveying teams to create and update production documents. Your responsibilities will include interpreting property maps and surveys, producing accurate drawings using AutoCAD, and assisting with various data-related tasks. This position plays a key role in supporting local government and utility projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret property maps and surveys to produce and update drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assist in document scanning and data development.
- Perform database coding and data quality control.
- Support the GIS team in projects involving local government and utilities.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of drafting experience in Civil, Mapping, Survey, or GIS documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
