Selectek has an exciting opportunity for an experienced on-premises Atlassian Administrator. This position will perform applications and system administration for on-premises Enterprise Atlassian tools that support internal software development teams. The position will be responsible for the development and improvement of continuous integration (CI)/ continuous delivery (CD) pipelines to aid in the automated testing and deployment of systems and software. This role will assist with account management, operations, security and maintenance of the applications used by software developers. Responsible for requirements definition and implementation of new capabilities.

Duties Include
  • Establish the governance for the processes and templates for Atlassian products.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers to gather requirements for business processes and determine ways to optimize and improve Atlassian setup and workflows.
  • Implement and enforce established permissions within Atlassian environment.
  • Effectively collaborate with Enterprise Services (IT) staff to coordinate infrastructure maintenance.
  • Develop and improve continuous integration (CI)/continuous delivery (CD) pipelines to aid in the automated testing and deployment of systems and software.
  • Stay up on new products and offerings, advise and guide on getting the most out of the platform and learn about the latest features and functionality.
  • Lead the research and implementation of Atlassian best practices for Data Center environments.
  • Strong technical writing skills and experience developing engineering diagrams.
  • A high level of independence as demonstrated through clear problem-solving, strong communication skills, and the delivery of high-quality work.
  • Excellent teamwork and organization skills
Ideal Skills & Experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Jira administration including configuration, maintenance, plug-ins, and workflows (including how workflow design can affect the performance and scalability of Jira)
  • Experience creating Jira schemas, Confluence templates and blueprints.
  • Experience deploying and configuring Bamboo Remote Agents on Windows and Linux OS servers to support Bamboo Build Plans
  • Experience configuring and supporting Java applications which run in a "Java virtual machine" (JVM) like Jira Software and Confluence
  • Experience with security compliance standards (CIS / NIST 800-171)
  • Experience working with on-premise and hybrid cloud environments
  • Experience working in a compliance-driven environment
  • Experience with PostgreSQL database management
Required:
  • 2+ years of experience as an administration of Atlassian’s Data Center/Server products, including application install, upgrade, and configuration.
  • 1+ years of experience administering each of Jira, Crowd, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence
  • Knowledge of software engineering processes and common software development methodologies Knowledge of DevOps best practices and continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines
  • 2+ years of experience with Linux, including system administration experience. We need someone that can also architect and manage the entire Atlassian suite of tools, not just use it for development. “
  • Need on Premise Atlassian Experience
Preferred:
  • Atlassian Certified Professional credentials.


Sponsorship: No – must be U.S. Citizen due to security clearance needed
Pay Range: $45/hour - $65/hour ($93,600 - $135,200 annual salary)
Term of assignment: 6 months temp to perm
Location of job: Atlanta, GA  30339 (Windy Ridge near Braves stadium)
Hours & Shift: Monday - Friday 7am-4pm no flex time
Work From Home? After 3 months of onsite with the team, they will look at partial work from home if things are going well; what that means will depend on the candidate.
Working Remote? No
Overtime: Minimum. Occasionally an hour or two
Travel: None
Work Attire: Business Casual

Lizzie is originally from a small town in South Georgia where she grew up on a farm. She then moved to the “big city” of Athens to attend The University of Georgia where she received her bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication. The courses she took cultivated her desire to connect with people and help others. This path led her to a sales and recruiting job with a company in Atlanta that took her to Pittsburgh and then back to Atlanta. Although she enjoyed the competitiveness of sales, recruiting was her passion. For the next three years, Lizzie honed her recruiting skills while working for a light industrial/manufacturing staffing company in Marietta, GA.

Lizzie joined Selectek in March of 2021. She brought with her a cumulative of nearly 9 years of recruiting experience. Her strong background and knowledge of recruiting gave her a great base for learning the ins and outs of engineering and architecture.

In her spare time, Lizzie spends time with her dogs (Jax, Tuck, and Birdie) and cat (Luna). She also enjoys cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs football team and visiting local wineries. She enjoys going on trips with her husband, Philip, and playing in a competitive cornhole league with him.
