Our client has an immediate need to add a talented assembler and soldering technician to their team. All candidates must have a current J-STD-001 certification. Past experience working on military or medical device sub-assemblies is highly preferred, but other experience will be considered. This role will require a well rounded tech capable of performing a variety of tasks.
The Technician will multi-task through the processing and completion of our Returned Materials (RMA). RMA processing is a complex task, involving the ability to perform several of the jobs on the production floor. These jobs include: production assembly, wire harness assembly, cable assembly, circuit board assembly, conformal coating, display lamination, ruggedization, final processing, & with training eventually testing and troubleshooting. Since RMA processing is not a full-time activity, this person will also help on the production floor in completing new production units for customer shipment when not working on RMA units.
This role will require knowledge of basic electronic components and their polarity markings, handling & installations. It will also require candidates understand wire types, terminals, connectors, mil-connectors, and crimpers.
-Current J STD-001 Certification
-5 plus years’ in electronics manufacturing at the sub assembly level using industry standard practices including: soldering, wire/cable fabrication, ESD prevention, & using basic electronic assembly tools & equipment.

-IPC-620 Cable & Wire Harness Certification
-ESD control program per ANSI/ESD s20.20
TERM: 6 Month Temp to Direct
Pay $17.00 per hour
