Architectural Project Manager, Multifamily / Single-Family
(Denver, CO)
A large, nationwide consulting company has an immediate need for an Architectural Project Manager for their Denver Colorado office.
The Architectural Project Manager Responsibilities Include:
* Overall, responsible for architectural design-build project leadership, documentation, and customer collaboration for a variety of multifamily and single-family design-build projects
* Coordinate and collaborate with leadership, engineers, designers, consultants, and customers to define product scope, support proposals, support design process, and produce deliverables that meet schedules and budget
* Maintain and manage project documentation, estimates, budgets, records, project history, etc.
* Communicate and coordinate project or product delays, issues, budget issues, etc. to leadership and project stakeholders
* Produce contract documents, initiate design development, and prepare project resources, schedules, budgets, fee projections, etc.
* Verify work and project documents for content and accuracy
* Coordinate and initiate construction walk-throughs and coordinates Construction Administration services
* Participate in zoning, public hearings, projections, billing process, invoicing follow-up, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
* B.S. Degree, Architecture, Engineering, Technical, Scientific or similar discipline
* Working knowledge and proficiency with architectural design processes, construction methods and procedures,
* 3+ years of architectural design-build project leadership, documentation, and customer collaboration experience

John is originally from the Tidewater Virginia area and moved to Georgia for college where he majored in Electronics Engineering Technology. For fifteen years, he worked in television news broadcast engineering where he worked his way into technical project management until a layoff. After a few years operating a small business franchise, he found his way into an engineering and technical recruiting career where he could apply his technical and customer service backgrounds in a new industry for the next fifteen plus years to present day. His education and work experience as a technical project manager provides him unique insight into a variety of roles and success in finding great candidates for his clients. His career in technology, technical management, and technical staffing spans 25+ years.
When John found himself looking for a new opportunity, his search led to him joining the Selectek team in June 2021.
John lives in North Metro Atlanta where he spends his time with his wife and daughter. They enjoy kayaking on area lakes, hiking, bicycling, and all things pets and animals.
