This role will mostly be remote, but the client's ideal candidate should live within driving distance to the office in Scottsdale. Job Description
Selectek is looking for an Architectural Drafter to assist the Project Manager in producing quality construction documents in an efficient and profitable manner. This person will be taking schematic designs and inputting it into AutoCAD. Required:

Associates degree in Drafting/Design
-
3-5 years of experience in residential architectural design

Some exposure to Revit/BIM
-
Proficiency using AutoCAD
Preferred:

Experience using Revit
Job duties:
-
Uses AutoCAD to produce construction documents using designs of others
-
Follows applicable guidelines for project standards

Converts limited verbal and written directions from Job Captain or Project Manager into a finished product or document

Proofreads own work and may proofread work of others

Generates architectural plans and artwork

Communicates with builder regarding construction questions

Lizzie is originally from a small town in South Georgia where she grew up on a farm. She then moved to the “big city” of Athens to attend The University of Georgia where she received her bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication. The courses she took cultivated her desire to connect with people and help others. This path led her to a sales and recruiting job with a company in Atlanta that took her to Pittsburgh and then back to Atlanta. Although she enjoyed the competitiveness of sales, recruiting was her passion. For the next three years, Lizzie honed her recruiting skills while working for a light industrial/manufacturing staffing company in Marietta, GA.
Lizzie joined Selectek in March of 2021. She brought with her a cumulative of nearly 9 years of recruiting experience. Her strong background and knowledge of recruiting gave her a great base for learning the ins and outs of engineering and architecture.
In her spare time, Lizzie spends time with her dogs (Jax, Tuck, and Birdie) and cat (Luna). She also enjoys cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs football team and visiting local wineries. She enjoys going on trips with her husband, Philip, and playing in a competitive cornhole league with him.
