Do you have a passion for design and a keen eye for detail? Are you eager to make your mark on the exciting world of luxury residential architecture? We're looking for a talented Architectural Designer to join our team in Charlotte, NC!

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition to a permanent position within 6 months. The hourly rate is competitive and based on your experience and education.

In this role, you'll:
  • Collaborate with the design team to breathe life into high-end residential projects (think million-dollar dream homes!)
  • Analyze and solve design challenges, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Prepare technical drawings, details, and shop drawings using industry-leading software (AutoCAD, Revit)
  • Interpret architectural drawings, field data, and client requirements.
  • Maintain a meticulous standards library for future projects.
  • Attend client meetings and contribute your design expertise.
  • Continuously learn and grow within a supportive and collaborative environment.

To be a great fit, you'll have:
  • 5 years of experience in Architectural Design Drafting
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and SketchUp
  • A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry terminology
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A passion for design, a hunger to learn, and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and thrive under pressure.

A bonus if you have:
  • Experience in the luxury residential custom-building industry (homes over $1 million)
  • Knowledge of North Carolina house building codes
  • Experience with shop drawings for millwork and custom furniture.
