Job Description

Position Overview
A well-established architectural firm in North Georgia is seeking an Architect with at least four years of experience to join their growing team. This role will support a variety of project types including pediatric clinics, veterinary hospitals, multifamily developments, commercial buildings, and government facilities. The ideal candidate is either a licensed architect or on the path to licensure and has the ability to manage projects from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage architectural projects from initial concept through construction administration

  • Collaborate closely with Principals and internal staff to ensure project quality and timely delivery

  • Produce and oversee detailed construction documents, including drawings and specifications

  • Participate in client meetings, coordinate with consultants, and provide design direction

  • Conduct site visits, review submittals, and support the construction phase as needed

  • Apply knowledge of zoning, code compliance, and permitting processes
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture

  • Minimum 4 years of architectural design experience

  • Proficiency in Revit drafting software

  • Strong understanding of commercial, medical, or multifamily project types

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Location: Rome, GA 30161
Type: 6-Month Temp-to-Direct or Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite
Salary:

  • Unlicensed: $60K – $75K

  • Licensed: $75K – $90K
    (Compensation based on experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Architectural Licensure (or actively pursuing licensure)

  • Experience with food service, veterinary, or healthcare facility design

  • This position is fully onsite in Rome, GA

  • Overtime may be required during peak project phases

  • Business casual dress code

  • No travel required

  • No drug screen or COVID vaccination required
