Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Scheduler specializing in Tool Install projects within the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering/technical field, along with significant experience in scheduling large, complex industrial projects. PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)® Certification and proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling are mandatory. This is a 1-year contract position with the potential for extension, offering an hourly range of $45/hr. - $70/hr.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering/technical field or an associate degree (Military Equivalent) in a technical field with 4+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
- PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)® Certification.
- 8+ years of experience scheduling for large, complex industrial projects.
- 4+ years of experience scheduling Tool Install projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling.
- Knowledge of Excel, VBA, Power BI, and Access for reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Liaison between project team members and the client team Scheduler/ing system, ensuring accurate conveyance and assembly of information per the Tool Install schedule.
- Support scheduling conflict resolution internally and externally, escalating when necessary.
- Manage daily scheduling activities of the project team, ensuring performance and productivity meet established models.
- Perform time impact analyses (TIA) to determine potential delays' extent and provide recommendations for schedule recovery.
- Conduct recovery schedule reviews and perform what-if scenario analysis. Assess and recommend solutions for schedule, scope changes, or delays to the Project Team and Executive Management.
- Establish baseline schedule, including summary and detailed reviews of durations, logic, resources, costs, cost curves, and resource histograms.
- Conduct schedule workshops, identifying critical path activities and guiding teams to follow generally accepted Agile/Scrum practices.
- Understand and promote LEAN philosophy for effective implementation in the design/construction industry.
