Construction Administrator

Job Description

Selectek is seeking a Construction Administrator to lead a project team through all phases of the construction process. 

This is a direct-hire position.  

Preferred:
  • Manage construction administration activities on projects.
  • Perform quality control throughout project life cycle.
  • Attend daily, weekly, and monthly meetings.
  • Review project schedule, design intent, special features, and budget along with client expectations. 
  • Lead RFI review process
  • Review project budget at start of project with Project manager
  • Review change order requests promptly and provide recommendations to owner / client.
  • Includes as-builts, Operations and Maintenance manuals (O&Ms), warranties, attic stock transmittals, financial, and lien release.
  • Assist project manager with project team post construction closeout, including lessons learned discussion. 
  • Perform post-construction services and investigations as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction science and/or management, architecture, or engineering
  • 8 plus years combined experience in architecture, engineering, or construction industry firm
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints
Preferred:
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Newforma, Deltek is a plus
  • Experience with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, is a plus
