About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Project Engineer to join our team in the Council Bluffs, IA, and Omaha, NE area. This position offers a competitive salary and a generous bonus program, providing an excellent opportunity for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Interaction: Collaborate with key clients to define project requirements, develop design criteria, and communicate priorities to the project team.
  • Project Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and estimates to ensure successful project completion.
  • Design & Documentation: Produce construction documents with an established team of experienced and skilled technical professionals.
  • Review & Coordination: Provide detailed reviews on multiple projects at varying stages of design and coordinate design efforts with public and private stakeholders.
  • Construction Administration: Provide construction administration services, including reviewing submittals/shop drawings, evaluating change order requests, and addressing questions from the field.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (NE or IA preferred)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil or municipal design
  • Experience with industrial and infrastructure projects
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in the field

Salary Range:
  • $85,000 - $125,000+ per year
