Job Title: Professional Surveyor

Location: Port St. Lucie, FL 34946

Salary: $90,000 – $115,000 (based on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Professional Surveyor to join our team in Port St. Lucie, FL. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and mathematical skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication abilities. This role requires proficiency in electronic survey equipment and the ability to interpret and draw various types of surveys.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).
  • Draw boundary surveys, easement sketches, and other types of surveys.
  • Interpret and draw utility as-builts.
  • Perform detailed research at the town, county, and state levels.
  • Read, plot, and locate land descriptions pertaining to easements and parcels of land.
  • Review Title documents and Table A (ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys) items and apply them to the survey.
  • Communicate with Surveyor to ensure job completion meets company standards.
  • Ensure job completion is up to company standards.
  • Work a minimum of 40 hours a week with the possibility of overtime. Weekend work may be necessary.

Requirements:
  • Florida Professional Land Surveyors (PLS) or Professional Surveyors & Mappers (PSM) License (REQUIRED).
  • Proficiency in electronic survey equipment.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with MS Office and MS Project.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Enthusiasm for generating and pursuing business opportunities.
  • Strong self-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
  • Salary: $90,000 – $115,000, depending on experience.
