Are you a Registered Architect with a passion for guiding projects from vision to reality?

Selectek has an opportunity for a talented Project Architect to join an established Architectural and Engineering firm in Council Bluffs, IA. You'll play a key role in leading and managing commercial, municipal, and public-sector projects, ensuring they meet all design and construction requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Architect
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Architect or Project Manager
  • Proven ability to develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and fees.
  • Strong technical skills in architectural detailing and documentation (Revit proficiency required)
  • Experience working directly with clients to understand their needs and translate them into exceptional designs.
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills to keep all stakeholders informed.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to code compliance (IBC, NFPA, ADA)
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Sketchup

Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience with industrial and infrastructure projects.

What you'll do:
  • Lead and collaborate with a team of professionals throughout all project phases.
  • Define project requirements and develop design criteria in partnership with clients.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure all construction documents meet code compliance standards.
  • Conduct regular project meetings with clients and contractors.
  • Manage construction administration tasks, reviewing submittals, change orders, and answering contractor inquiries.
