Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Develop engineering designs, including detailed shop drawings and comprehensive documentation.
  • Collaborate with Sales and R&D to fulfill mechanical design requirements and innovations.
  • Liaise with external vendors for outsourced components, ensuring quality steel, aluminum, and wood sourcing.
  • Provide on-site support for project installations, ensuring seamless implementation.
  • Participate in a dynamic design team, contributing to the evolution of product designs.
  • Create precise CAD drawings, facilitating effective customer presentations and production processes.
  • Generate accurate Bills of Material, supporting project accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with cross-departmental teams to meet project specifications.
  • Address inquiries from Vendors and Fabricators, ensuring clarity and efficacy.
  • Resolve technical and scheduling challenges across departments, adapting strategies to meet project timelines.
  • Maintain updated mechanical system documents reflecting both "As-built" and "As-installed" conditions.
  • Produce comprehensive Operation and Maintenance manuals for delivered systems.
  • Embrace additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned, contributing to team synergy and project success.
Requirements:
  • Associates or BSME degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in either Solidworks or Solidedge.
  • Familiarity with PDMworks, facilitating efficient data management.
  • Strong grasp of basic mechanics and mechanical hardware used in material handling systems.
  • Direct hands-on experience with AutoCAD.
  • Capability to comprehend and create detailed mechanical drawings.
  • In-depth understanding of production processes, methods, and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in resolving technical and schedule-related challenges.
Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000+
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
