Job Description
Selectek has an immediate opportunity for a Junior Transportation Engineer to join their team in Indianapolis IN.
Required:
- Engineering design, including geometric design of highways and streets, drainage design (hydrology and hydraulics), and completion of construction engineering
- Assist in the development of models, figures, reports, and engineering plans for designs
- Prepare construction plans and project displays
- Assist in the preparation of proposal documents and preliminary project evaluation
- Coordinate project tasks and report to the project manager and supervisory staff to assist in the budget, schedule, and project status tracking.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program.
- 2 – 7 years experience is designing transportation projects.
- Background working on INDOT, county, and municipal transportation design projects.
- MicroStation / Bentley Open Roads Designer (required)
Pay Rate:
- $31/hr. – 36/hr.
Hours and Shift:
- Monday – Friday
- 8 AM- 5 PM
